Chartered member of the RIBA, I hold requisite specialist skills and experience derived not only from town planning projects in Spain, but also from working at all stages of various design, construction, restoration and refurbishment projects.

 

Being enthusiastic, self-motivated and with the ability to encourage others, at a technical level I am meticulous and orderly, whilst retaining creative flair. 

 

In my view, Architecture is a profession that I believe represents the personality of people. For me, Architecture is all based upon safety, the environment, sustainability, accessibility, effectiveness, and efficiency. It is about keeping within the heritage and culture of the communities, and also about economy and remaining competitive.

 

I think that our profession is working within a very dynamic, fast-changing environment. Our clients are looking for professionals with technical excellence, a good business head, a strong and determined personal work ethos, combined with creativity to face the different challenges. They want architects who understand their commercial aims and make them happen. They want architects who make a difference.

 

In my profession, I have overseen various projects that I have developed which have been very diverse in their own way. I have used a very versatile approach which has involved: design, structure calculations, production of detailed drawings and specifications, including technical documents and coordinating tasks.

 

After my experience in projects development, all its complexities, the difficulty of coordination of phases and documents, I am convinced of the importance of BIM and the complete integration of all project information; we could say that this environment is their natural habitat. 

 

I am passionate about photography and sketching, as both allow me to observe and interpret the world in different ways. Photography sharpens my attention to detail, lighting, and composition, while quick, freehand sketches provide a more spontaneous and expressive way of capturing ideas and impressions. Together, these practices enrich my architectural work by combining careful observation with creative exploration.
